results p90x

If i can’t afford to follow the P90X diet plan exactly can I still see results?
I’m 20 years old 5’7″ and 147lbs. and want to get to at least 135lbs if not lower. I’m going to Hawaii in July so needless to say I want a bikini body. I have P90X but I can’t afford to follow the diet plan exactly, I still eat really healthy but I can’t afford the fish and the supplements…I’m already a starving college student! Can I still see results if I’m not following the plan exactly? and are my goals realistic for p90X?
With all diets and work out regimes, it’s not all or nothing. As long as you’re putting in some effort you’re going to see results. All the supplements and whatever else you’re cutting out is just going to make it so you aren’t maximizing as much as you could be, but it’s not going to completely eliminate all results.
147 lbs -> 135 lbs is only 12 lbs
And until July is just under 5 months, so that’s ~2.4 lbs/month or ~0.6 lbs/week. If you eat 2,000 calories a day and burn 2,500 calories a day, you’ll be at a 500 calorie deficit. This means every single week you’ll have used 3,500 more calories than you ate. 1 lb of fat is 3,500 calories, meaning you’ll lose 1 lb/week, which is 0.4lbs more per week than your goal.
You can get some serious results if you put a lot of effort for 5 straight months… and I mean really good results! Just have to be motivated.
