p90x skinny results
I’m kind of skinny and I’m starting p90x. I want to know what I should eat to gain muscle but not lose any fat?
I’m about 5 foot 11 inches tall, and I weigh just shy of 130 pounds. So I want to make sure that I do not lose fat but at the same time gain muscle mass. I also want to know how often I should eat and if I should take any supplements. I know there are multiple questions here but I want to be able to get the best results I can out of p90x. Any answers given are well appreciated.
Make sure you eat a lot of protein to build muscle, and enough carbs to keep you from losing fat. I think it would be good for you to eat 3000 calories or more per day, with half of that being protein and a third or more being carbs. You’ll definitely gain muscle with that,and if you find your self losing any fat just increase the amount of carbs you’re eating.
You should be eating pretty often, every 3-4 hours, or whenever you’re hungry. Supplements are probably a good idea too, at least for protein. It’s very difficult to get enough grams of protein without supplements, so I’d recommend that you buy whey protein powder or something similar. You can also take creatine before workouts, to increase the amount of muscle you put on.
