How quickly am I supposed to see results with p90x?

I just started p90x about 5 days ago. My father tells me he sees a little difference but i see nothing. They say you are supposed to lose weight and gain muscle very quickly with p90x. How long is it supposed to be until you see results?

I started 8 days ago, and I was just looking up the same question. I’m 5’3″ (yeah I’m a little guy) and about 145lbs but I’m a little stocky and not really fat or husky at all, maybe a little, but I never had abs. I think it all depends on how hard you push yourself to get the most out of each exercise. When I’m working out and I see my reflection through my big screen, I can see abs coming out. I’m 23 mind you so I got a good bit of stamina. I see these older peoples results on the internet and there day1 and day 30 pics look almost identicle, but younger people seem to show results a lot quicker. I would imagine that it would also depend on how out of shape you are to begin with. I’m also considering taking hydroxycut to hasten the results. I know they say it can be dangerous if you take too much, but I’m only going to take 1 before each exercise. Eat lean white meats (pork and chicken) and fish (salmon is an excellent choice and it’s delicious with a little seasoned salt sprinkled ontop of it) alot and also eat vegetables with every meal and you should be seeing your core slim pretty quick. I know I am. I don’t see P90x doing much for the arms though and I can’t do 15+ pullups in a row (…yet?), then doing it again and again and again within and hour (WTF? those people are machines!) but there’s other ways of getting the arms bigger. Stick with it man, it’s a rough road but the end results are totally worth it.
