p90x meals

1 of the meals for phase 1 of P90X, Quinoa….?!?
1/4 cup of quinoa served dry, is like 180 cals, so am I suppose to measure 1 cup dry??? OR ddoes it mean cook it then eat 1 cup of it?? Cause 1 cup of Quinoa is like 600 calories plus the 6oz chicken breast, for one of the meals in the nutrition book, cause that seems like WAY to much, so can someone please help set me straight
What is way too much? The calories? Calories don’t exist.
You see, even proteins are calories, good fats are calories, and complex carbohydrates are calories.
Even if you eat a 100% protein meal, you’re still getting a bunch of calories.
I say that meal is completely healthy, and chicken is a great source of protein and fat. Quinoa, too, it contains almost everything a person would need.
