p90x for weight loss

Please Answer!!!!! P90X Diet?
i no p90x is great for weight loss and the diet is great for that and i no doing the workouts with heavy enough weight it’ll put on muscle but i heard that eating more than u burn is just as if not more important so my question is can the diet b for putting on muscle or is it just for weight loss
Hi Jimmy. The P90X nutrition plan helps in both area, builds muscle, reduce body fat. It wasn’t really intended to be a weight loss program, although many have lost significantly because of the workout and nutrition plan. Basically, users are taught how to eat and burn calories very efficiently. Few home DVD programs do this. Its typically just a workout, but doesn’t teach the user that a crispy cream after your done isn’t the best choice. For many of us that are serious about fitness, you need good instructions of both healthy eating, and exercise.
It helps build muscle because it lays out a eating plan that is high enough in good calories and proteins. It provides you with enough energy in calories to actually do the workouts with max effort. If you try to do P90X with to large a calorie deficit, you’ll fail. Plain and simple.
Some say the nutrition program is the hardest part. I can believe this as it’s not just a ‘how much to eat’ program, but it teaches what kinds of foods are best, and what should be avoided for success. It’s not a diet that you start, and quit in 90 days. It’s (hopefully) a lifestyle change. You learn how to eat properly from this point forward. Its very UN-restrictive. You can eat whatever you like as long as it’s healthy. The plan teaches this.
Read the books — cover to cover. They explain everything..all the hows and whys.
I like to say that fitness isnt a diet. Its not something you do for 30 days until you get a result and quit. You need good healthy eating habits, AND and good regiment of exersise. P90X gives you the way. If you do the program to the best of your ability, you WILL get results.
