p90x at target

I have have some working out questions?
Alright im in pretty good shape and i have pretty good build right now but there are some thing that i want to improve on. i want to get more buff but at the same time lose some fat.
1) what is the quickest way to accomplish this (i know it takes time but i that i mise well ask)
2) are there any diet tips
3) And good chest or shoulder work outs i want to mix those muscle groups up a little
4) my main area that i want to target is my chest, they are a little flabby i was wondering if i lifted would it tone up or would i have to just focus on cardio
5) lastly does anyone have anything on P90X my friend is going to do it soon and he wants me to do it with him is it worth doing it.
if anyone has answers to any of these questions i would appreciate it
1) if you want to loose weight and gain some muscle density and mass at the same time, you should swim laps at the pool. this utilizes every muscle group. you should swim for 1 hour 3-4 times a week. if you dont have access to a pool, you should do this routine
run a mile
jog 1/4 mile
sprint 200 meters
jog 200 meters
sprint 100 meters
jog 100 meters
run a mile
do that 3 times a week and you will be in great shape.
2) diet tips- DRINK WATER ONLY. take a multi-vitamin.
try to consume 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per day. to loose weight consume only 1600 calories and days you exercise 1900. try not to eat lots of sugar (candy, coffee etc.). also try to consume as little fats as possible.
3)chest exercises- you should bench press 3 times a week with a weight that only allows 7-9 reps do that 3 times. then do some chest flys and seated chest press. and cardio should help bring out those muscles.
4) Cardio should be done but to bring out those pecs, you need to also lift weights. but cardio also helps
5)From what i hear, it is a great program. if you follow that you should be ripped in no time. also doing it with a friend also rings out competitive energy which makes you work harder.
Lastly you should take protein powder at the end of days you work out to help you muscles heal and recover. i recommend BSN Syntha-6
