lost p90x nutrition guide
p90x, how well does it work?
ive never really worked out at all in my life but im heading off to school in the fall and i want to look good, i know its a really dumb reason to get into shape but hey im tired of being plain. i just want to know how well it works if you dont follow the nutrition guide. i dont really think i need to do it because i naturally have a very high metabolism i eat like a pig and i dont gain a pound and even one week i lost 10 pounds because i couldnt eat like i usually do (smaller paycheck). but either way how well would it still work???!?!?!
im 5’6″ i weigh 186 which i know is considered obease but ive got legs like a work horse from passive weight training ( i carried a hundred pounds in weight around my entire highschool carrier) so i dont think the not following the nutrition thing would hurt much

Wow, well first off you have to follow the nutrition plan to get results. I thought the same thing you did, but not following a nutrition plan will not get much fat off of you and here is why: If you can stick to the program you will see results! In the first two weeks I bet you will shed 10lbs whether you eat right or not. BUT as you do these workouts your body becomes more efficient and if you eat bad you will no longer see fat loss. This is because your consuming enough calories to burn when you workout, therefor your body doesn’t dip into that stored fat for extra energy. IF you eat healthier (2`000) calories a day, your body will continue dipping into that extra fat for stored energy for a while. Then when you hit a plateau (no fat loss) you take your diet down to 1`500 calories. You will continue to lose weight by doing this. Don’t go below 1500 calories though. Just to answer your question above, yes the program will work for fat loss for about 2 weeks. You will continue building muscle under your fat though unless you stick to the diet plan.
