how much protein p90x
p90x nutrition question?
Hi. Today is Day 4 for me on p90x. But I have a few questions regarding diet and nutrition. I am not following the nutrition plan but the nutrition guide says I am a level 2 and need around 2500 calories per day. I don’t know how this is possible. I believe that is too much. But my question is is that right and was this a good diet for the day? (I am 14, 6’1, and 155 lbs, male)
Breakfast: slice of whole wheat bread with a slice of American cheese melted. With a fruit
3.5 hours later: minimum pb&j on whole wheat with two fruits.
Snack: some fruit in a container.
Two hours later: a cup of mixed vegetables with tuna (maybe)
P90x workout
Post workout: scoop of whey protein with 8 oz milk
Dinner: variable (lentil soup, chicken breast, salad) but always with fruit.
I also eat almonds throughout the day along with water
You are eating too much fruit and not enough protein.
Your best bet would be to go to the message boards at beachbody.com,and ask the advice staff.
Since you are only 14(no offense),Im not sure of your nutritional needs.
I follow the guide pretty close as far as the portion approach.I,too am at level 2 and this is my 3rd time around doing the X.
Nutrition is the key to getting good results.
Be careful and eat healthy.
