doing p90x in a gym

Gaining weight on the p90x workout?
Hey;
I’m 18 yr old male who is 5’11″ and 152 lbs. I go to the gym a few times a week and am in decent shape. I’m interested in trying p90x but I want to make sure I don’t lose weight. I’m already kinda skinny/bonny although i am a bit defined. What can I do to get fit but at the same time gain muscle while on the program?…Is it true doing a heavier weight with less reps will acomplish this? If so, how do I know what weight to be using (do the dvds tell you)? Also, are there different versions of the workout program (i’ve seen ppl talking bout a lean program…what are the other versions?) Finally, what should my diet be like in terms of supplements and fruits and veggies?

If you’re already fit, and you should be to start P90X, you’ll lose whatever fat you have, but you’ll build great muscles on it. You don’t have to do anything else to gain muscle.
Yes, more weight, less reps is how you gain muscle. P90X will guide you how to do that.
It’s an extremely HARD workout. But, there are ways to make it a little easier if you need.
It comes with a VERY good diet program.
